Today we racked a cider we made back in October. We split the batch into two and added Amarillo & Citra hops to one carboy and blackberry puree to the other. Now to wait a couple of weeks and keg it and enjoy our hard cider!
This weekend we harvested our hops. Since they weren’t too tall I was able to reach up for harvesting. In the future we’ll let the line slack so we can reach them more easily. That same day we made our “hale sweet hale” rye ale with them! Excited for a pint!
